Tri Tronics Multi-Way Pro Series – G2/G3 Holster
Tri Tronics Multi-Way Pro Series – G2/G3 Holster is designed to fit all Garmin Tri Tronics PRO Series transmitters as well as Tri Tronics G2 and G3 transmitters.
Great idea, no longer will owners with more than one series model need a different holster for each one.
We took a Hunter Orange (also available in black) version of the product and put it into service in our own training to get an idea the quality and usefulness of the product.
Immediately you are impressed with the quality of the materials used. The material itself appears durable and the body is thick and will protect a transmitter through all but the most severe abuses during it’s years of use. Or if, and I have, you leave the transmitter on the roof of your suburban and drive off for a mile or so before remembering your error and when you return to the location of the stupidity find that another vehicle has ran over the unit, well the holster probably won’t save it. Mine certainly did not.
The material and the construction do indicate that the holster will last through mud, rain and a number of years of hard use. In addition the inside is a nylon laminated poly material will product your transmitter investment from dings and abrasions common to filed use.
One area of concern was that the models that are covered by the Tri Tronics Multi-Way Pro Series – G2/G3 Holster are not all exactly the same size so will the holster fit all of them satisfactorily ? The answer is yes. 
transmitter and snaps in place on the side of the holster was more than adequate to do it’s job.
The opening for the buttons and controls is excellent and in no way inhibits operation of the transmitter.
The adjustable belt strap is substantial with strong quick release hardware and it can be worn on your own belt, on the included strap, over your shoulder, around your neck, across you chest or simply hold it in your hand. In trying several methods of use we found they worked quite well always allowing for easy use of the transmitter when you needed it. Plus there is a lot less chance of losing the transmitter afield with the holster.
A 1 1/2 inch wide nylon loop on the side of the holster also can be used as a hand loop.
All in all the Tri Tronics Multi-Way Pro Series – G2/G3 Holster is another hunting dog friendly product from Grain Valley and after using the product ourselves at Gun Dog Outfitter we can happily recommend it! And at an excellent price.
